HP Retiree Programs provide an avenue for retired employees of Hewlett-Packard (including Digital Equipment, Compaq, and EDS) and Agilent Technologies to continue their association with former work colleagues and the two companies by providing activities of mutual interest. These programs are open to all U.S. employees who have retired per eligibility guidelines.

Information about Aon Hewitt Navigators Service

If you and your covered dependent are both eligible for Medicare, you have access to Aon Hewitt Navigators insurance services. This resource can help you explore a variety of options and find a plan that meets your needs and budget. The insurance plans offered through Aon Hewitt Navigators are individual insurance policies, and neither managed by HP nor part of the HP group program.

When you enroll in a plan through Aon Hewitt Navigators, you will need to complete any additional enrollment forms that will be necessary. Medical plan premiums will be paid directly to the medical plan you elect. Depending on the insurance product you elect, you may be able to arrange for your premiums to be paid automatically from your bank account.

If you choose to purchase coverage through Aon Hewitt Navigators instead of enrolling in an HP retiree medical option, you will retain the option to switch back to HP coverage during future annual enrollments or if you have a qualified status change.

Special Notice for Recent HP Retirees

Update on required mailings from HP

In addition to your HP retiree health plan enrollment materials, within a few weeks following your retirement, your spouse (if you're married) or qualifying domestic partner may receive a separate COBRA notice indicating that HP coverage has ended and offering your spouse or qualifying domestic partner the opportunity to enroll in continued HP medical coverage under COBRA.

You may also receive a "Certificate of Group Health Plan Coverage" showing your HP coverage ending on your HP retirement date. Although these notices are required to be sent, they are not intended to change the retiree medical enrollment opportunities described in your other retirement materials.

If you have questions about either of these notices, please contact the HP Benefits Center at 1-800-890-3100 to speak with a representative (speak "Benefits Center").
